Artists’ Television (ATV) was a San Francisco based cable access show that ran from 1988 through 2011. Over 800 episodes were created and produced by the volunteer staff at Artists’ Television Access, an art and performance space located in San Francisco’s mission district. ATV was comprised of mainly shorts video pieces that screened, were created, or found at ATA. A wide variety of local, national and international visual artists have had their work screened on the show. The show was curated by Phil Patiris in the late 80’s early 90’s, Carolyn Cooley in the mid 90’s, Sadie Shaw and Greg Pope in the late 90’s and Dayv Jones and Kent Howie in the 2000’s.
